Legal concerns?
We hear you
Whatever your legal issue – from family law matters to a commercial dispute or employment law issue – we offer counsel crafted by empathy and enhanced with extensive knowledge and experience gained beyond the legal field.
Our Story
Two fundamental principles have always underpinned everything we do here at Voice. The first is the belief that our clients deserve to heard – in a way that works for them. The second is that with improved communication by everyone – the chances of a positive outcome increase drastically.
In most instances, conflict is normal. It’s how everyone chooses to deal with it that matters. But the prospect of finding a resolution yourself can be daunting. We steer our clients through the legal process while protecting them from the intimidation of the courtroom and defending their right to put forward their side of the story. We start that process by clarifying what success looks like for them and then we go about finding the best way to achieve it.
We use experience gained by working in other industries and with people from all walks of life to inform our approach to our work. This makes us empathetic people first and skilled lawyers second. And that’s why Voice wants to listen to you.

Kayte Lewis
B.Com (HR & B.Ec.) | LLB | GDLP | A.T.C.L. (Lond) | NMAS | LLM (Dispute Res)
Managing Director
Starting Voice Lawyers in 2017, Kayte had a vision to create a legal practice built on four key principles she felt were most important to clients in their relationship with their law firm. These attributes not only tell the story of Voice Lawyers, but – also outline Kayte’s own beliefs around how legal services should be delivered. They are:
taking time to listen and understand the client’s situation;
always seeking to empower and enable clients;
using strategy and insight gained beyond the courtroom and lastly;
maintaining forward momentum for the client.
These are the characteristics Kayte wanted Voice to be known for and they define the firm’s working practices every day. These principles provide the business’ daily navigation towards its key objective: ensuring that everyone gets the chance to be heard.

2024
As has become our tradition, we celebrate our law firm anniversary by highlighting the cause of charity we feel aligned with, and we celebrate by promoting the great work they do.
This year, we supported Destiny Rescue.
The Voice Lawyers Team put their legs on the line for the third time in the 2024 City2Surf charity supporting Destiny Rescue and the work they do worldwide rescuing children from human trafficking.
After a lovely 14km + walk through Hyde Park to Bondi Beach,soaking up the central atmosphere, we managed to raise $3755.00! We thank everyone for their support.
Your presence and support mean a lot to us, and together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most. For more information about the charities, we have partnered with this year, please find additional details and links below:
Previous years:
2023
As you know, at Voice Lawyers, supporting charities that align with our values and advocacy is a tradition we cherish.
In 2023, we focused on charities that work diligently to assist individuals in the DV recovery process, particularly addressing financial abuse. We believe in creating lasting impacts, and we are proudly supported Mummies Paying it Forward and the Arise Foundation.
The gala was held at the exquisite Dolton House, and what a memorable evening it was! Filled with live music, delectable food, and fine wine. But that's not all – We held an exciting live auction featuring luxurious holiday getaways, private dinners, and thrilling experiences. Moreover, we were all inspired by speakers from Mummies Paying it Forward and Arise who shared their remarkable stories of triumph over adversity, leaving us all moved and motivated.
2022
For the first time since 2019 (pre-Covid!), the Voice Lawyers team was able to stretch our legs and take part in the City2Surf for charity. Our goal was to raise $10,000 for Destiny Rescue.
Destiny Rescue’s mission is to rescue children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking and help them stay free. With $10,000, Destiny Rescue would be able to fund an entire Raid Rescue Operation, liberating multiple children from sexual exploitation and arresting the perpetrators.
The fundraising target was great, but the cause was even greater… And after a short 14 km stroll from the CBD to Bondi Beach, we managed to raise $10,066.08! We couldn’t have done it without our former Client Relations person, Stephen, who contributed an extra $1000 by winning the Run With Heart prize.
2021
Last year we had planned return to The Gold Room at L'Aqua, Cockle Bay Wharf for another Empower Voice Dinner. The exclusive Gold Room features leather and timber walls, a distinctive feature wall, and a gold-leaf octagonal ceiling boasting a brilliant Swarovski crystal cherry blossom chandelier.
A combination of gourmet three-course meal, wine, inspiring speakers, and entertainment fill the night. Destiny Rescue is the charity.
Obviously, we have had to cancel the dinner (we plan to organise another one next year!). We are however, still raising awareness of the issues that lead to Destiny Rescue being set up 20 years ago and still raising funds for this amazing charity.
Take advantage of an incredible opportunity to make a difference. Join us to raise funds, spread awareness and contribute to a truly important cause. Every $10,000 supports a Raid Rescue Operation, which aims to liberate multiple children from sexual exploitation and arrest the perpetrators
Child sex trafficking is the world's fastest growing crisis. Over 1 million children are exploited by sex trafficking. 70% of children trafficked are from the Asia Pacific region. $99 billion is generated by sex traffickers each year - $11 million every hour.
You can be the difference for a child! Destiny Rescue empowers freedom, gives hope, and provokes change. You can equip agents to rescue those enslaved and fill their future with hope.
For every dollar raised by Destiny Rescue, 81 cents is used for programs that benefit children, 13 cents is used for fundraising, and 6 cents is used for administration.
2019
Update: We did it!
Some of us ran. Some of us jogged. Some of us walked. No matter how we did it, we all finished. And raised $5,282.56 to #keepkidssafe.
For our second fundraising effort, we are supporting the Alanna & Madeline Foundation by participating in the Sydney City2Surf!
Support TeamVoice as we shuffle the 14 km from the CBD to Bondi Beach on Sunday, August 11, 2019.
Every dollar helps! Here are some facts on how your contribution will make a difference:
$25 - can provide the basic essentials: PJs, underwear, and socks - to children affected by violence and trauma who are currently in emergency accommodation.
$50 - can provide a complete Buddy Bag to children affected by violence and trauma who are currently in emergency accommodation: helps to restore a sense of safety, security, and dignity.
$100 - can provide a child affected by violence or trauma with the resources they need to stay and succeed in school such as a uniform the fits.
$500 - contributes to helping vulnerable children recover from significant violence and trauma through Children Ahead: a unique, intensive therapeutic and case management program that rebuilds the child's physical and emotional development.
2018
On the first anniversary of Voice Lawyers - August 1, 2018, one hundred guests joined us at the Gold Room, L'Aqua, Cockle Bay Wharf for an evening of fine food, wine, international speakers, and fundraising at the inaugural Empower Voice Dinner at which approximately $10,000 was raised for our two charities for that year: the HOPE Program and Caritas (via Women for the World campaign).
